D  ING GOOD

DOGOOD_IG20_edited.png

Hi, Donut Lover <3

It is an absolute privilege to bring tasty + fresh donuts to the communities of Hoboken, Jersey City and beyond.

My mission is to not only provide donuts you will surely grow an addiction towards (sorry not sorry) but also to promote sustainability, social justice and general kindness in all our day to days. Learning to make donuts was hard but inspiring others to DO GOOD is an easy choice.

Please see below for some ways in which DGD is Doing Good in the community and please never hesitate to reach out with new charitable and sustainable ideas.

Remember to Eat Good Donuts + Do Good Things.

sustainability

Ohhh donut lover, are you like me, and environmental anxiety has made a permanent home in your brain? Just me? Cool cool.

I (sort of) kid. Protecting and honoring Mother Earth is a very important part of my life and thus, of Do Good Donuts. Keeping my business local and near zero-waste is always my goal! Below are a few ways I put sustainable actions at the forefront of what I do:

  • Composting! Dropping food scraps off at the local Hoboken drop points and composting my fry oil (seriously!) with Neighborhood Compost.

  • Buying bulk, local ingredients from Bone In Food.

  • Encouraging customers to bring their own take-home containers to my pop-ups, rather than using a box that will quickly be thrown out.

food pantry distribution day

I am an Uptown Hoboken neighbor of the Hoboken Community Center!

Every other Tuesday, the HCC provides their Family2Family program for their pantry clients who need other non-food items, such as: diapers, wipes, formula, baby food, pet items, hygiene items, adult diapers, sanitary supplies, etc.

I love to provide donuts to those waiting in line (early!) and the hard-working volunteers. If you'd like to sponsor donuts at an upcoming Family2Family day, please see the schedule below and email me (emily@eatgooddonuts.com) about which day you'd like to sponsor:

April 26, 9:00am-11:00am

May 10, 9:00am-11:00am

May 24, 9:00am-11:00am

June 7, 9:00am-11:00am

June 21, 9:00am-11:00am
